Mixtape of music I’ve enjoyed this past year (2016), except one from 2015 I couldn’t skip. Not a “best of” by any means, but tracks I feel were inherently part of my state of mind and my work. For practical purposes, a lot of stuff had to be left out because it didn’t fit the 1 hour limitation (Sutcliffe Jügend album Cleave, for example).
The video is the piece I prepared for the Metaphase event organized by the Brvtalist in LA. Title: “Lamashtu Axis: Every Trigger Warnings, Puerile Unsafe Zone and Hostile Plagiarism”. It’s divided in 5 parts: Architecture, Pharmacology, Spirituality, Warfare and Pornography. All the visuals are from my past films, installations, video performance, etc. A swansong to what was once my identity.
